Small Care Homes: The affordable Alternative

When the time comes it is a daunting task for family to find a certified affordable place to take care of Mom or Dad. Half the cost of large institutional like facilities, these homes are cozy, clean and caring. Every large city/region has hundreds of them licenced by each State to provide care for a small group (3 to 10)  residents. They are often called Community Homes or  Board and Care Homes as well as Residential Care Homes. Most do not advertise or have websites so the best way to find them is a local Placement Agent or a friend of a friend who knows about one.  Share link with family.
